The story of Arctic Log Cabins began 30 years ago, when the owner, Heikki Saviharju, decided to create an affordable and comfortable all year around accommodation, in the style used in times of Finnish Gold Rush in early 1900. Cottages were built over the years one by one, and the latest two of 12 cottages are currently being completed in summer 2021.
Today Arctic Log Cabins are managed by Timetravels group – a Finnish tour operator, specialising in experience travel to Lapland.
