The Wilderness Cottage

The Wilderness cottage is located in the nature conservation area in Inari, near the Otsamo fell, on the shores of Lake Rovajärvi. 

This atmospheric wood-heated cabin, built in the 1950s, comprises an area of ​​approx. 200 m2, which is divided into a larger living room, a kitchen with a gas stove and cooking equipment, and a separated living area of approx. 40 m2. The rooms have fireplaces that heat up the place even with -30°C. There is no electricity, nor running water; the toilet is outside, a separate building. 

Guests can enjoy the brand new wood-heated sauna, and go on the lake with a rowing boat. 

The cottage is suitable for real wilderness lovers! Pure nature and no neighbors around!

The hiking trail leading to the Otsamo fell starts about 1.5 km from the cabin. The water in the lake is clean and suitable for cooking and drinking. 

The location is 18 km to the center of Inari, about 20-25 minutes by car.
